You’ve been in this industry long enough to walk into a client’s business and immediately see three problems they haven’t noticed yet.
You know which direction the market is moving before they’ve updated their range plan.
You’ve probably saved a client from an expensive development mistake they didn’t even know they were about to make ...
And yet, you’re still rewriting that proposal. Still hovering over send. Still bracing for the email that says “can we talk about the budget?”
Here’s problem: your clients can’t see what you’re worth until you’re already in their business doing the work.
Before the contract starts, all they can see is the number.
And the number looks big, because the thinking that solves their bigger problems is still invisible to them.
So they push back, and you explain, you soften the number. You fill the silence. Somewhere in that moment you’ve already lost £3k you didn’t need to lose.
This isn’t a creative confidence problem, or a portfolio problem. It isn’t even a pricing problem.
It’s a value translation problem …
the value translation problem
The value translation problem shows up in three places. Until all three are working together, your full time income typically stays capped, chaotic, or you start to slowly burn out.
Where it shows up first
Your positioning isn’t specific enough to make your value obvious before you open your mouth.
You’re established; you’ve got the experience, the commercial instincts, the track record. But your service still looks similar to everyone else’s from the outside, and clients who are willing to pay at the level you want are buying on clarity, not credentials.
They need to understand immediately what you do, who you do it for, and what it costs their business not to have you. Right now that case isn’t being made until you’re already in a conversation, and by then you’re defending a number instead of being invited to name one.
What we do about it
A deep-dive business review to uncover what you’re already doing that clients aren’t paying for. Then we build your positioning around that, so the right clients arrive already understanding your value, without new work or a new website.
Where it shows up second
Your marketing speaks to creativity and process, but your ideal clients are thinking about money, time, and risk.
Decision makers at the brands you want to work with aren’t buying design. They’re buying a solution to an expensive problem, a range that sells, a trend that works for them, a consultant who sees what their team can’t.
If your marketing talks about process, aesthetics, or years of experience, it’s landing in the wrong part of their brain. It reads as a cost, not an investment, and a cost is always up for negotiation.
The moment your marketing speaks directly to the commercial outcome you create, you stop attracting
day-rate shoppers and start attracting decision makers who already expect to pay you properly.
What we do about it
We build your core marketing message, then a time-efficient ritual to bring clients into your business.
Where the money is lost
You’re losing money in the sales process; the written proposal, the conversation, not in the work.
You can have the right positioning, the right message, the right client in front of you, and still lose £5k in the moment they ask for your price. Because nobody has ever shown you what to do in that silence.
So you fill it, freeze or over-explain and soften the number. You add something extra to justify it, and before they’ve even pushed back, you’ve negotiated against yourself.
You can lose even more in a written proposal or a services website page.
This is the part most business coaches skip, but it’s where the money is.
What we do about it
We audit where you’re unintentionally weakening your position before the proposal is even sent, then build a sales conversation process that holds, without ever feeling pushy or salesy.
The Creative Authority Method™
THE GOLDEN Triangle
The three part model to making your value visible
Re/Package
Uncover what you're already worth, and charge for it
You're already creating commercial value that you're not naming, not charging for, and not making visible to clients. We start by finding your true value, through a deep-dive portfolio review that uncovers the thinking behind the work, not just the work itself. Then we build your signature service around it: specific, positioned, and priced at the level it actually demands.
Re/Position
Be the obvious choice in a niche where your value is clear
Broad positioning keeps you competing on price and relying on inconsistent referrals. Specific positioning puts you in a category of one. We identify the micro-niche where your experience and commercial track record make you the obvious choice, and build your marketing message to attract the right clients more consistently than ad hoc referrals that take you ‘off piste’.
Re/Direct
Hold your price in real conversations — not just on paper
This is where most coaching stops short. We work on what actually happens when a client questions your price; what you say, what you don't say, and when to stop talking. Not confidence exercises. A real process for real moments. So you stop negotiating against yourself before they've even pushed back. So you have a process that works without spending days on proposals.
how it works …
We'll work together for six months. You'll move through a pathway of short, action-focused videos (5 to 15 minutes) implementing as you go so you can move quickly and work around your current client work.
Within the first 6–8 weeks you'll have uncovered your hidden value, clarified your signature OFFER service, and GENTLY relaunched your positioning. The second half of the programme focuses on your sales process, your pricing conversations, and building the income consistency that makes the whole thing stick.
360 support included …
Daily Slack support · Weekly group Q&A calls · Unlimited 30-min 1:1 calls with Rosie · Private podcast for anything you miss · A community of FREELANCE design consultants, industry experts, and creative REBEL change makers
after working together …
Most clients notice the shift LONG before they expect IT. Not because the programme is a ‘magic bullet’ — but because once you stop sending signals that invite negotiation, clients stop negotiating AND YOU FEEL IN CONTROL.
your proposals feel simple and easy ...
You stop writing three drafts and hovering over send. You quote the number, send it, and MOVE on. because you've already made the value visible before the proposal IS SENT.
your client conversations feel equal ...
You're no longer the FREELANCE designer proving her worth. You're the FASHION consultant STUDIO who already knows the answer to the problem they're about to describe. That shift changes everything about how a client relates to your price.
your fashion design studio feels calmer ...
Fewer clients, better fit, more focused work. You stop dropping everything for the 2pm "quick DESIGN amend" because the RETAIL BRAND clients you're working with hired you for your thinking, not your availability.
your income stops relying on who happens to refer you ...

THE INVESTMENT
£3,500 structured as a payment plan of £2,000 upfront then £500 x 3 instalments in months 4–6.
Most clients find the investment pays for itself the first time they hold a price they would previously have discounted, which can absolutely happen within the first eight weeks.

THE GUARANTEE
Join for the first three months. If it's not the right fit, you can leave and we part as friends. The application process exists to make sure that doesn't happen, and 95% of clients stay for the 6 months and longer, but the “Love it or leave it” guarantee is there for your re-assurance.
I'm Rosie. I help established fashion consultants build a business where their prices aren’t up for negotiation.
I spent years working across the global retail industry, with 30+ brands and 100+ buyers; watching experienced, talented designers undercharge in real commercial situations (including myself). Not because they weren't good enough. Because the way they were presenting their value gave clients every reason to question it.
I built The Creative Authority Method™ because I kept seeing the same thing with my 1:1 clients: the most commercially astute designers in the industry were consistently getting paid less than their thinking was worth.
RE/Fashioned Futures is a small group. I work closely with everyone in it. If you're ready to stop adjusting your price to win the work, I'd like to hear about your business.
Frequently asked Questions
-
Yes. You're not coming here to learn how to become a designer or find your first freelance client. This is about turning the experience and commercial judgement you've built over the last 10, 15 or 20+ years into a better positioned, better paid consultancy business. If your business looks successful from the outside but you know you're still undercharging, relying too heavily on referrals or taking on more work than you should need to, you're in the right place.
-
I did too, and I spent years looking for someone who understood both the reality of running a design consultancy and what happens internally when you try to change one. RE/Fashioned Futures works on both. Externally: we work on the business: your positioning, offer, marketing, sales process and pricing — through the lens of how buyers, brands and design consultants actually work together. Internally: we work on what happens when you put that strategy into practice: the overthinking, self-doubt and old habits that show up when you become more visible, approach a bigger client or hold your ground on a £15k proposal. Community: you have the benefit of a carefully chosen group of design consultants with decades of industry experience between them. That's a rare room to be in. Private coaching: And when you need my opinion privately you can book a 1:1 call.
-
It's designed around the reality that you're already running a busy consultancy.
Productivity is one of the first things we work on together; how to create the time and headspace to maximise your investment without turning RE/Fashioned Futures into another thing on your never-ending list.
The core videos are short, generally 5–15 minutes, and you'll implement as you go, around your existing client work.
And the 360 support; group calls, Slack, 1:1s and private podcast — is there for you to use in the way that works for you. It's a choice, not a checklist. You absolutely do not need to do everything.
We'll decide what matters most, focus on that and keep moving.
The goal isn't to give you more things to do. It's to help you build a simpler business that needs less of you.
-
No! Please don't spend the next six months trying to figure it out before you come. That's part of the work. We'll uncover where your experience creates the most commercial value, identify the problems you're particularly good at solving and use that to shape your positioning and signature offer.
-
No. When I talk about your portfolio, I'm interested in your portfolio of experience — the projects you've worked on, problems you've solved, decisions you've influenced and commercial value you've created. I don't need a beautifully updated PDF or website before we start. In fact, please don't disappear down the website rabbit hole first.
-
No. There is a clear pathway through The Creative Authority Method™, with short videos and tools to guide the work, but you're not buying a library of content and being left to implement it alone. RE/Fashioned Futures is six months of working closely with me: weekly group coaching, daily Slack support, private calls when you need them, plus a small community of experienced consultants going through the same process. You won't be wondering whether you're doing it right. We'll work through it together.
-
I enrol just 2–4 new clients at a time, and there are never more than 8–10 people on a group call. That means I get to know you and your business properly, while you still get the perspective, connections and support that come from working alongside other experienced design consultants.
-
You have unlimited 30-minute 1:1 calls with me throughout the six months, so if something needs privacy, more depth or simply another pair of eyes, we can work through it together. That might be a proposal you're about to send, a difficult client conversation, your pricing, an opportunity that's landed in your inbox or something completely unexpected.
-
Calls are recorded and delivered through a private podcast, so you can listen when it suits you. You also have Slack and your private 1:1 calls, so missing a group call doesn't mean getting left behind.
-
Yes, because knowing what to do and actually doing it when money, rejection or uncertainty enters the room are two very different things. We work on the strategy and what happens when your brain tells you to lower the price, avoid the outreach, rewrite the proposal for the fifth time or retreat to what's familiar. I use science-backed mindset tools alongside coaching, mentoring and practical business strategy so you can actually implement what we build.
-
Some clients make changes within the first few weeks; for others it takes longer. Within the first 6–8 weeks, we'll be working on your positioning, signature offer and how you communicate your value, so you'll start putting the foundations into practice quickly. How that translates into enquiries, contracts and income depends on your existing business, opportunities, implementation and client buying cycles. This isn't a magic bullet. It's six months of getting in control of your business.
-
That's what my Love It or Leave It guarantee is for. Join for the first three months. If you decide it isn't the right fit, you can leave and we part as friends. I use an application process because I only invite people I genuinely believe the programme is right for — but the guarantee means you don't have to commit blindly to all six months.
-
I don't enrol continuously. I bring in a small cohort of 2–4 consultants at a time so I can work closely with everyone as they get started. If applications are currently open, you can apply for the next intake now. If they're closed, join Stories from the Studio. My email subscribers always hear about new intakes, workshops and opportunities to work with me first. Click this link to Join Stories from The Studio.
-
Yes. Many clients choose to stay. After your initial six months, you can continue inside RE/Fashioned Futures for ongoing coaching, support and community, currently priced at at £750 per quarter or £1350 per 6 months..
-
Payments are processed securely through Stripe and all major credit and debit cards are accepted. You'll receive an invoice for your business records. If you're unsure how coaching should be treated for tax purposes in your particular circumstances, check with your accountant.
-
You'll answer a few questions about you, your consultancy and what you want to change. I'll personally review your application. If I think RE/Fashioned Futures could be a good fit, we'll have a conversation before either of us makes a decision. This isn't about convincing you to join, it's about making sure it's the right investment for you, and you're the right person for the room.
